Il primo amore non si scorda mai 🙂 Sono passati quasi 20 anni, dal mio primo studio di protezione sismica mediante controventi dissipativi, erano i noti X-ADAS (X-Shaped, Adding Damping and Stiffness), inseriti in elementi di controvento… molti anni dopo, correndo per Market Street a San Francisco in direzione della baia, la mia attenzione è stata catturata da uno di questi controventi all’interno di una facciata di una piccola banca… per noi strutturisti, una vera e propria “delizia”.
